I have had an amazing birthday weekend. I say weekend as it lasted probably 4 days. It started with the cutting of cake at the computer club, kindly by baked by Maureen. Thankyou so much guys. I’ll get back to this later. The next day I had a fab day next door with my friends and sister, we created a bucket list for next year. We are going to be very busy! On my birthday John and I had a lovely meal in the Open Arms in Dirleton. This hotel has the loveliest Christmas decorations of any where on earth. It’s not that I’ve been everywhere on earth, I just have a sixth sense on these things. I do. Buoyed up by Christmas cheer we hit the charity shops in North Berwick where I bought a whole heap of stuff for Christmas décor. I’ve went over the top. I don’t have a lot of space left for the daily machinations of living. My home now looks like a channel 4 programme on super hoarders. One of those OCD people would come in handy. Sunday, my son and future daughter in law came over to help dig out, put up and attach bling to just about everywhere. Job done. Bring on Santa!

AuthorI enjoy writing short stories and reading yours. I'm always amazed at where our mind can take us. I think it is therapeutic to let your mind wander off and free itself of personal drudgery. Archives
